Yes, you're nuts. And i am a big Reinhart supporter. I wear my #23 everytime the Sabres play in Vancouver or Calgary and I am at the game.

Zuccarello off to DAL, pending trade call, in exchange for 2nd round pick in 2019 and third round pick in 2020. The 2nd rounder becomes a first if DAL wins two playoff rounds. The 3rd becomes a first if DAL re-signs Zuccarello.

I’d be calling for Botts head if he did. Columbus has no choice but to go all in. Panarin and Bob were going to leave regardless. I hope they win the cup this year or else Columbus will entering a rebuild the Sabres are going through right now with a lack of draft capital and a bleak at best prospect pool. |

That is why I said its not about two individual players and offering more.
We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Its about Botts finding help for this team.
Botts could make a trade for a guy we didn't even know was available.
Trading for UFAs is definitely a mistake though unless a deal is in place. We aren't in that kind of position. I don't see Botts trading for a UFA unless he feels he can resign him. |
