I can make a case that rhino is in the 10-15 range on that list. If he continues on his trajectory then I may revise the list.

Sounds about right, but dude just had a hat trick, might as well enjoy it.

I’m still holding out hope that his defensive game continues to improve and he becomes our Mark Stone. Once Mitts develops or we get another Centre that can play worth a poop we are on our way. Hence why I want another top 10 pick. Imagine a scenario where a 26 year old Sam has a stud 20 YO Centre to play with him on an ELC so we can stack up a third line ?

Just noticed your location. Some of the passes he makes are the best I’ve ever seen. Was listening to the radio in the first, Hamilton was saying in the intermission the pass he made to Sheary in the first was better than the goal he scored? I saw the replay of the goal and that was pretty good.

Yeah, sniper was good but he gave Sheary an early Christmas gift. Too bad Holtby played Grinch.

Now we just need him to start doing this come game 1 not game 30 or 40,

I think Mittelstadt is just fine on that 2nd line with Reinhart as long as we get a comepetent LW. Dzingel-Mitts-Reinhart has a good ring to it.

It was a play that is done 1000's of times a game

He meant to disrupt Skinner from making a play, he didn't mean to trip him and there isn't any intent to injure him

Jesus the penalty on Bowl-U was way worse.

You need help.

- Stripes77

Completely agree.

Bowl u got slew footed and forced into the boards awkwardly. Super dirty

Skinner had legs tangled. Not intentional

Can I dream for a Huberdeau - Mittelstadt - Reinhart line and have it be realistic?

We need to develop our own LW. It's the deepest position in the organization right now.

Yes, he played his normal shift with Eichel and Pominville in the 3rd.
- Wetbandit1

At the game, skinner played his regular shift, but he wasnt the same.

Obviously the injury left him with less jump.

I'm sure skinner is fine or our team doctors wouldn't have let him back in. That would be like letting a guy with a concussion fly to NJ. Oh .....wait

Theoretically he'd be exactly the player JB would want to add, relatively young with plenty of term left. I think it would cost at least a 1st and top prospect. I would but honestly feels like something tm would do not jb

Botts seems to be all about caution and patience. I’d be absolutely shocked if he went out and dealt for JH.

I just watched the game on tape delay. What a great game. It is hard to believe the Sabres of the last two games is also the same team that played against the Devils, Rangers and Blackhawks. Very schizophrenic team.

Rhino was obviously great. Hopefully it has been put to rest that he is actually a very good player. Jack, Hutton and Dahlin were all stellar. I liked the way Beaulieu and Hunwick played. They weren't noticeable which is a good thing. And the 4th line continues to impress. Girgs, Larsson and Wilson played a very good game.

Next up are the loafs. It is a very winnable game if they bring the same intensity. A great day to be a Sabres fan.

Still got faith in Mitts.

Reminds me of Skunk in a way. Needs to get stronger.

- RhinoFan

Most of the team needs to get stronger. The one thing I really dislike about the modern NHL is how soft players are and how physical the game isn't. I chuckle every time they do the Carubba hit of the game. There usually aren't any.

They have a tendency to play to the level of their competition and that seems to surprise some of the better teams.

I know everyone will tell me I am nuts but IMO... Reinhart could very well be the best player the Sabres have...

I just see a lot of Chris Drury in him... Just my dumb opinion though
