That is not a slash

However his stick did get caught in his skate

Hard to say it was intentional or not

Looked more like a little stick tap that happens 1000 times a game where the player got his skate caught in a rut

- Stripes77

And you ref games?

He literally sticks his stick between his legs mid-stride. That is a sure way to trip or injure a player.

Good thing you don't ref games that matter.

Just watched it 6 times.

His ankle looks bad, but his knee looks like it might have an issue, too.

And he clearly grabbed his knee.

- Powerslave

Skinner screamed when it happened. Whatever it is, not looking good. Then again, I thought the same thing earlier in the year and the Skinman ended up coming back into the game.

Ive worked more pro hockey games than anyone that posts here minus Paul Stewart

I absolutely know more than a BeadyEyedDouche

Haglein isn't even looking at Skinner.

It's a trip but it is not intentional and def not an attempt to injure anyone

Whoever is responsible for playing music in the arena is drunk. He has no idea he plays Animal every time the Sabres go on the PK.

Sure he knew he was there plays like this happen 1000's of times a game where a player skates by another player and the put a stick on them

It's a penalty

It's not intentional

I strongly disagree with it not being intentional. The injury result wasn't intentional, but it was absolutely intentional by Hagelin to give him a tap to try and disrupt Skinner from making a play.

Ref's can be wrong sometimes, too. You're right, it is a penalty. But just because he isn't looking doesn't mean it wasn't intentional.

If I turn my back to a basketball hoop and just throw it behind me and it goes in, that doesn't mean it wasn't intentional.

That's my entire point. It was an intentional play that happens all the time. It's the timing that was terrible.
