I was going to congratulate Maurice on finally giving Laine a chance on the top line and then I checked the ice time for the rest of the forwards and this showed up

1. Sheifele
2. Wheeler
3. Laine
4. TANEV !!!!!

At least the Jets won.

Tanev ahead of Connor, Ehlers, Little, Roslovic, makes sense....

I agree with most of this. Laine was as good as 55&26. He competed tonight at an nhl level. I believe having ehlers and countrymen niku changed his mindset, hockey was more fun for him tonight.

It was niku’s best game for the jets by far, but the best d tonight was Myers. Not always pretty but his compete level was outstanding. 2nd efforts, blocked shots, focused. He made good on a night when he was fighting the puck a little. Trouba was also good.
The play of TLC eclipsed the play of line when Perrault was there. Speaking of Perrault someone promised us a first shift goal if he was paired with Appleton. He was on the ice however it was a Vegas goal on one of his first shifts.

Yep. Did not see my Appleton via Perreault goal. Swing and a miss
