Looks like Duchene to Columbus
- LAHawk

I'd imagine Wennberg might be part of that package for Duchene

Yeah, I don't understand playing Perlini or Kunitz over Hayden.

He played decently in Detroit with puck possession and being physical. He stood up for Kane in the Boston game. Not sure what he has to do to not get benched.

I don't understand why Hayden is being sat either unless he is involved in a pending deal. I hope not because I want the Hawks ta retain him at least for another year.

My thing with Hayden is that he's seems like a really good guy. Works hard, doesn't complain, etc, he just doesn't get the results on the ice. He gets lost a bit defensively, and has a tendency (not all the time) to try to do too much in the O-zone when he should just use his size and strength.

Maybe that is due to him being in and out of the lineup and on various lines, but like all players consistency is key.

Abramov, Davidsson and a 1st RD pick for Duchene and Bergman. And a conditional 1st RD pick if Matt Duchene signs with Columbus

Hawks should have ponied up DeBrincat, Joker, Boqvist, Delia and Koekkoek for him.

Duchene to be in Columbus lineup tonight. It's ironic they are playing the Senators in Ottawa.

Wonder if the Sens sits Stone and Dzingel again.

I agree. I don't think they will be moving Panarin or Bob.

Details still coming in but Ottawa may be getting Columbus 1st round pick plus the prospects already mentioned.

It will be interesting to see if Columbus now doesn't trade Panarin/Bobrovsky and go all in this season - or - if they know Duchene will resign in Columbus and they still flip Panarin/Bobrovsky to get something for them before they UFA.

Mackenzie said there is also a conditional 1st rounder for OTT if he resigns.

That conditional 1st makes it unlikely that he resigns?

Naw they gotta see this as their best chance to either win a Cup or possibly get to a ECF which could go a long way into keeping Panarin or Duche this offseason and guys going forward

Not a bad haul for Ottawa. If Panarin and Bob leave July 1, Columbus will be motivated and have the cap space to keep Duchene. Then that conditional 1st will look good if Columbus' new lineup falters next year. For that matter Columbus is still not guaranteed a playoff spot this year.

I wouldn't say so. I think they would like to resign him just depends on house he fits with the team, his asking price, and what Panarin wants to do/asks for.

If the team plays well and you can lock up Duche and Panarin this offseason it would likely be worth it in their eyes. Also, if Panarin leaves resigning Duche would at least allow them to keep one of their elite talents.

I see Bob stays for the playoffs

Panarin now gets moved as a rental

Calgary
Vegas
Dallas
Winnipeg
Nashville

In the East - Boston

Dizengle to Hawks best DL deal because they sign him off season

Why would they dump Panarin now? If that is the case you don't gain anything, they are both UFA's, no?

Unless the return is a great haul , then it makes sense.

Any word on drake and his injury?

He was practicing with the first line according to some reports I saw.

Maybe the Columbus GM is going to show huge stones by now flipping Duchesne, Panarin, and Bob all at the deadline.

But I really don't think you bother to get Duchesne if you are still moving either of those other two guys, it wouldn't make sense on any level.

Thanks for the update

Does it seem a bit fishy that Seabrook name was mentioned a month ago about getting traded, and right before the deadline he has abdominal pains?

Is Seabrook really injured or is he merely putting a injury to derail any chances Chicago could have a taker for him?
