Depends if Da Coach pops a pill pre fight !

Coach Dikta could win the Indianapolis 500 by driving the Bear's team bus.

Colorado 5-2.
- mohel

I agree with Mohel here.

Colorado will go up 3-0 in the first. Hawks will score one near the end of the first to make it 3-1. Hawks score one in the second to make it 3-2. Colorado scores one early in the third and with around 8 minutes left to make it 5-2.

Krugers faceoffs could be better and our PK has been poor. but Kruger plays small ? He is one of the few Hawks who consistently goes to the oppositions net and gets his grill in the opposing goalies face.
- bhawk1s

He is fearless, I agree. But he is easily knocked off the puck and struggles in 50/50 battles. Relentless, yes. Heart, yes. But if he can't win faceoffs, I'd rather have somebody that can win a faceoff and not be knocked easily off the puck, unless we're talking less than $1 million per year.

And guys, he doesn't bring much of anything on the offensive end.

On Seabrook, all the personal training recommendations are great and yeah, he should be working out religiously all summer.

That can happen and he is still carrying a load of time and minutes on that body. You can pick your poison - either Stan could not bring in capable d-men to rely on during the playoff push and playoffs themselves or Q would not play them and ran them off. Or some combination. It doesn't matter. Layer Olympic hockey and continuous playoffs basically relying on three guys (and only one of them was really physical) and this is where it winds up.

The Seabrook vitriol really needs to be re-directed. Winning consistently (and thank you for it!) combined with the inability to identify and develop defensemen who can actually defend save for Hjalmarsson has cost the organization.

LOL......Ive seen a few out of the uniform and they are built like tanks.

I also saw Sharp this year and was amazed at how small he was. He looked sickly, and I have ZERO knowledge of anything, just saying that in a general term.

- SteveRain

Saw him at a street fest over the summer and he's definitely small. Clearly very little body fat and still in shape, but smaller than you would think. Keith is even tinier in person.

From Eklund:

Also Jesse Puljujärvi Having season ending surgery. This doesn’t mean however that he still could not be moved to a team who wants him long-term. I have been following New Jersey who has interest....

He also said that NYI "HAS" to respond to CBJ loading up. Why? They are leading their division and playing really well. That mindset always threw me for a loop.

- Chunk

Apparently Puljujärvi is getting a second opinion to make sure season ending surgery is required, so it is possible he might not be out of the season.

Try out the app Gametime. As the game gets closer and closer, the app brings the price down by the minute and sends your tickets to you to scan in immediately.

Thanks for the insight. Now my internet feelings are hurt.

Maybe watch the link to the video of Seabrook working out all summer.

Off subject, but pro golfers are mostly small guys. Used to frequent the Western Open at Dubsdread years ago. A lot of those guys are like 5-10, 160 pounds. But they can hit the ball.

6-5 Hawks

Both these teams score, both suck defensively, both have top PPs and crap PKs

This screams a shootout.

Some are bigger these days. Tiger brought a lot more fitness and strength training to the game. But yes a lot of the smaller guys really get everything out of their bodies. So much lag and torque created. Guys like Rory and Justin Thomas just crush the ball. Beautiful to watch. I have a pretty low handicap and crush the ball. I'm 6'3" 200lbs and both those guys hit it as far if not further then me. Doubt either on is over 5'10" 175lbs.

I'm only just nudging 6' myself, and fairly lean, but I have long arms, and find I can hit a long iron further than a lot of people I play with hit their driver off the tee (I refuse to use a driver as my slice is shocking and I don't play often enough to fix it). Size isn't everything, but it certainly helps

Me too. Years ago I couldn't hit a driver off the tee to save my life. Used to drive with a 3 iron and I hit it longer than the guys with woods.

Did you say once you live in Australia? If so, have a question. I know the seasons are reversed so your "summer" is ending and you're headed into your "autumn". Just wondering how cold it gets there during your "winter" months... June, July, August?
