Oh so now he's good? Is he good or average? Is he an above average good player?

I think Giroux has been fine still creating opportunities and offense out there just hasn't capitalized this past stretch of games. It looks like playing center takes away from some of his freedom to be a creator on the offensive side of things because he has to worry about his own end of the ice first. In a perfect world the Flyers would sign a good 2c in the off season or trade for one so G can get moved back to wing. - FreshFlyer
Id be looking at a borderline #2 guy. Someone that can be #2 if needed but fits in 3c role if NoPa is ready for that responsibility

LMAOO he categorized him as skated well. WTF does that mean, he looks pretty while he skates? The dude is slow but strong on his skates, what does that equate to? Idk, not skating well. He makes up for his speed/quickness with his IQ, always seems to be in the right spots and lurking around the front of the net. |

I'm simply trying to get a ball park for what your definition of skates well is. I know what mine is. If you're saying a player doesn't skate well, which is what you've said, then reason would state that you think he's a poor skater. |

I was high on Lindblom when he first came over to NA. He was the forward of the year in the Swedish League and I thought we may have caught something that others missed. Having seen him play, I was expecting more in the offensive category. He is a good player and will be a strong top 9 forward for the next few years. I think he is a smart player, has average speed, and is tough to push off the puck. The puck seems to find him a lot. In my opinion, he needs to finish more. Not sure if that comes with experience or what. In most of those Swedish clips, he was in the right place and put the puck in the net.
Now, he is starting to pick it up a little bit. I'd be hesitant to move him this soon as he has not had steady linemates (although Gordon has kept his lines together somewhat more than Hak). I'd love to see him with Patty and TK in the future. Get Coots, G, and Jake back together. I think once we move one of JvR or Simmer, we can get a little more creative with the line combos.
BUT, if the right deal comes along, I believe Lindblom could be moved. |

Lindblom is not slow. Skates well is a pretty simple term to understand. |

I'd say he's a level 3 skater. Also, he has 6 units of strength. |

Strengths. He has 6 of them. It's a pretty conventional unit of measure. One strength = 5 hard works. This is common knowledge.
Similar, 1 good skater is equal to 3 strides per second squared. |

I don't need to do this, you obviously don't properly comprehend what we're discussing. It's pretty obvious what we're talking about, but you're obviously not as knowledgeable as me, so what you're saying is ridiculous. When you're ready to have an intelligent conversation, then we can talk about this. Until then, you're clearly wrong because you're not me.
Love, MJL. |
