No it wouldn't. If the Kings or the Ducks hung 11 on the Sabres then, yeah, sure, but the team that is so far out in front of the league doing it? Not so much. The Lightning have 15 more points than the next closest team. They can lose the rest of their games and they're 99% going to make the playoffs. They're going to score 320 goals probably.

I've actually not watch much of the last three games... maybe a period.... Sucking will do that I suppose. Try to decide if it even worth turning it on tonight, I suspect they will play well but loose still.

Why Botts doesn’t get credit for finishing in last, and not making panic moves to “salvage” the season, to select Dahlin beats me. In my eyes without a patient Botts we don’t have Dahlin or Mittelstadt. Sheary, Sobotka, Hunwick, Beaulieu should be gone hopefully by next season and were short term low risk moves that didn’t pan out, oh well. Let’s see what he does with a boatload of cap space and three first rounders before we burn him at the stake.

99% of the mess Murray left us is off the books after next season

Most of that said talent is already on the team ? Eichel, Reinhart, Dahlin, Mittelstadt, Risto. We franked up Nylander and Murray couldn’t hit on rounds 2-6 to save his life and that’s why he got the boot. Olofsson, Asplund, Borgen, Dougherty could very well be key cogs on this roster in a year or two. Other then that the pipeline is now dry but can be plentiful again with the amount of picks we have the next couple of years. Also don’t discount Laaksonen, UPL, Pekar, Samuelsson, Davidsson.
