He's a complimentary player. A nice player, and I want him. And they stole him for Viktor Rask, who's not a nice player what so ever.

But let's try to be honest here. He flicks the needle in a positive direction, but that team did not need him to turn their season around. They started poorly and have really put it together. Coincidentally, was he a nice jolt? Probably. But I'd bet my meat stash that he wasn't there to fix a team.

Well, it cost us a 2nd and a 3rd to finally get him, looking at the trade tree. So be it.

point taken and based upon their previous month and a half, you may be right...they had a horrendous December (4-8-1) and began to pull out of it before the trade (6-2-0)...after the trade, 9-4-2...neiderreiter, 13 points (8+5)....

They’re some of the most valuable trade pieces out there

I’d like to see us get a partner for Dahlin this year
Anaheim seems ripe for the picking
Nylander + for Manson (or Montour)
*or something like that

Scandella & Beaulieu should be tradable
And with the heavy demand for RH shot defensemen, we might get more than we’d expect for Bogo

My guess is that it’s not a one or the other proposition for Botts
