That's why you keep a few guys for leadership, otherwise the tank gets deeper. I know you want to trade Zucc and Hayes for picks, but that does no good in the long run. Shorter rebuild with leadership than trading away all the vets and drafting talent, ask the Sabres and Oilers how that has worked out.
