I really don't get this. Marner is in a funk, and we get it, but that happens to every player almost every year. Normally it's up to the rest of the guys to pick up their play to compensate, not sit around and wait til he gets better again.

Every one of you is proving my point tonight. If you call out Hainsey, Gardner, Zaitsev for poor play, you call out Marner for poor play. Lots of nice photo ops in warm-up though.

Poor play is not an opinion.

Not where he was in October, or how he carried the team in November or where he'll be in a week or two. The NHL is a game-by-game league. The last several games are simply not good enough for a guy that wants an 8 figure AAV with therm.
