Don Waddell keeps trying to talk to the Wild about Staal or Granlund or Zucker but Paul Fenton has Don's number blocked now. |

Why wouldn't they, if the Bruins can be bought so easily all teams should be calling Sweeney up |

Yes. The Wild are interested in acquiring Coyle from the Bruins for a 3rd rounder.

The only way the Leafs get Ferland and a D-man is if they trade Nylander. Not just because of the cost to aquire the players but also the cap cost. Nylander is finally going so maybe now is the time to move him, I just don’t know if I see it actually happening. |

That’s a great deal really. Donato has like 6 goals and was soft in the corners. Bruins have several prospects on the way. Studnicka, Trent Frederic, Lauko and Cehlaric. Senyshyn as well. Coyle will help the third line with some scoring and physical level. Have seriously missed those contributions this year. |

* The Leafs are upping their offer to land Ferland and perhaps adding to the deal by also getting a D-man out of Carolina...This trade could get VERY Big...

Likely see Nylander moved at the Draft. Maybe not but it’s harder to move bigger contracts mid season. Really thought Dubas should have traded him last season that way the acquiring team could get their own deal done. |

People were so high on Donato...seems most never saw he spends most of his ice time either on his back or on all fours. Can knock him over with a feather albeit he could shoot. |

yeah NO.
Nylander isn't going anywhere yet. If and that's a BIG IF will be during the summer but I do not see that happening any time soon. |

pretty bland deal if you ask me. Coyle's fine, not great. Donato is just Coyle all over again. |

Yeah the Canes are NOT trading Ferland and a defenseman without getting a substantial forward in return. They're in the middle of a playoff race. They're not gonna sell Ferland for futures, and I can't see the Leafs wanting to make a deal THAT big in season. |
