I don’t know what to think about this team right now. They are not playing great hockey but they are still winning.

Yes they outplayed Ottawa tonight but Ottawa is pretty much an Icing an AHL roster.

On the bright side they're winning with the top line in a slump. If JH ever gets going again, look out.

Good teams find a way to win. Once the top like gets rolling again (hopefully just in time for playoffs) with the depth scoring and top line rolling this team will be hard to beat if we get reliable goaltending.

The addition of Stone tomorrow will get that top like moving

What would you guys think about a trade like this:

Mantha would be my want out of there but I think the price would be way too high. I know Frolik would have to waive his no trade but I am trying to see a way to get a veteran defenseman that can still keep up in the NHL and has some size and grit to his game .... Kronwall checks all those boxes and Athanasiou I think would fit really nicely into the Backs/Chucky line.

I think that if you put Kylington into this trade and take Frolik out ... that would get the deal done but I am not sure I would trade Kylington as that kid has a lot of upside right now.
