Wouldnt read too much into that my fine Irish friend. Was at the Islander game & he took a nasty shot to the back of his leg that you can see it hurt him.
Tre will wait for the clearance prices at the end of the deadline & scoop someone no one even expected for a dirt cheap price. |

Yeah, BT said Kylington was hurt but expected to be back tomorrow. The team has such good chemistry if he does nothing, I don't think anyone would complain. That said, I think our 1st is in play and should be able to get a quality rental...Maybe he can swing a deal for both McQuaid and Zuccarello. |

Yeah I honestly think this team is going to be fine if we do nothing. We've got a good thing going and bringing in somebody could mess it all up. As much as I am fine with adding we shouldn't be selling off the farm to do it. I still think having Kylington included in any deal is a big mistake, especially for a playoff run where you need 8-10 good defenseman to go deep. We have a ton of good D-men and are going to have to make a move with one of them eventually but it makes more sense to do it in the off-season.
Zuccarello is an option I really like because I don't think he'll cost a lot to get, though that does somewhat depend on how many teams want him. I would love to have Stone or Panarin but Stone is probably way too expensive and I think Columbus is just going to keep Panarin and go for a run. They wouldn't trade Duchene if they intended to just move out Panarin. Not when they are both UFAs at the end of the season. |

Anyone suggesting moving our usual #2 top line Dman (Bunkulese) 20 games before making a playoff run is just dumb. Move him in the summer, sure, but not before the playoffs for which we're looking very solid for. nd then suggest you’d rather see Prout? Shake ur head. |

Agree, now is not the time, wait till the draft and recoup some picks. Brodie has looked brutal the last few games but when this team was clicking along he was just fine. Keeping him for 5 more months isn't going to hurt. |

That's just silly. Washington won the Cup and only used 7. Vegas made the finals and used 7. Tampa made the conference finals and used 6. Winnipeg used 8, but Kulikov played in one game and didn't even play 10 minutes.
Having Stone is much more valuable for a playoff run than having 10 defencemen.
Without Kylington, the Flames still have 6 good defencemen and Stone and Prout are better than most teams' 7 and 8 options. |

Even if they find a way to move Brodie and Frolik, there's no way the Flames can pay Stone, Tkachuk, and two goalies next year. - Hunkulese

Your boy still has to follow math. Brodie + Frolik + Smith = 13.2 million. Add another million to account for Tkachuk's current contract. There's no chance to get Tkachuk and Stone signed long term for less than 14.2 million. If they both sign for the low end of their projected value, it's probably around 17. That puts them above this year's cap. The cap is projected to go up between 2 and 6 million. So how would they be able to keep Bennett, sign two goalies, and fill out the roster? |

If the talks for Stone are real, I'd throw in another first to have them take Neal. That solves a lot of problems. |

Kylington in the lineup is a good sign he won't be moved. Thus a Stone deal highly unlikely. A first for Simmonds might be a nice move. |

A second would be. I wouldn’t trade a first for Simmons I don’t think. But that’s just my opinion. |
