The more I see Andersson and Kylington play the more I don't want to see those guys go. Especially for a 1 year rental. Unless the return is for a young NHL player that can be extended that fills a need I don't think I want to see their names in any trades. Valimaki shouldn't be in the trade rumors either. Not even for a guy named Stone.

Wonder what Brodie would bring back at this years trade deadline versus trading him at the draft?
If we could get top dollar, maybe we trade Brodie, get a guy like Jensen out of Detroit to play with Kylington and move Rasmus up to play with GIO.
Assuming we get more for Brodie than we pay for Jensen we could use the difference to add to our package for one of the big forwards on the market.

Thx Todd, I agree the boys seem to have got their mojo back! As far as Hathaway goes I think he has played his best hockey of his career! Kinda like Bennett he has found where he fits in on this team as well as the nhl. I think he is going to be a ferland type player come playoff time with a little less skill. I really really hope the flames add without subtracting. Especially all the young D. The core forwards are set for a number of years, now let’s do the same with the defensive group...... I have confidence tri will not mess with the chemistry of this team.

If keep him til the draft everyone says you need 9 deep on defence to go the distance. Same for Prout, guys played better the last few games he's. Wen in. It's gotta be tough playing every 15 games or so. Still want to see him fight rhough

Actually Ryan has been friggin invaluable this last stretch. I like the signing, term & $$$$, it's giving us a lot of strength in the bottom 6. Wins faceoffs, great on PK & has been getting points of late. Takes guys time to fit into roles. Just saying, why so negative on Ryan?
