I would say that I can't wait until I'm old and feel this way, but sadly, I already do.

What would we need to add to Simmonds to get both Katchouk and Raddysh? Simmonds and a 3rd for both?

Would be fun to have a Katchouk-Frost-Raddysh line next year. Also how about Stone for Voracek.

Giroux-Couturier-Konecny
JVR-Patrick-Stone
Katchouk-Frost-Raddysh
Lindblom-Laughton-Bailey

To get BOTH of them??? More than a 3rd, that's for sure. I don't think you can get both unless you give up something way more valuable than a 3rd. If they could get Raddysh for Simmonds straight up, I'd do it.

I'm more afraid of getting eyebrows like Andy Rooney when I age.

My god, those things look like they could eat his face.

Believe me, I'll be at this game, so if it's rainy and miserable, I'm going to drunkenly come on here after the game and complain about it.

Can you please come on here and drunkenly complain about it even if the weather is great and the Flyers win?

Also, in my opinion, if people want to spend a lot of money to stand out in the cold for 3+ hours to have a bad view of a game played on a makeshift rink, then whatever. I'be done it twice, no need to do it again.

I think people just feel that the NHL took the best idea it had in decades, the Winter Classic, and watered it down with so many outdoor games that they've lost their appeal.

I'll be sitting somewhat comfortably trying to wrangle my 1-year-old and complaining about the damn kids out front.

Why do we have new kids nowadays? What's wrong with the kids we used to have?

Been to every game and I still love it. But I also spend it fairly intoxicated.

See, I'm straight edge, so I have to just stand there, freezing my balls off, and not get distracted by invisible goblins, or whatever you see when you're smashed (goblins that look like hot women?). I actually thoroughly enjoyed both the alumni and Phantoms games, and thought the Winter Classic in Philly sucked. The other 2 were way more fun. The WC in Boston was fun, but that was because we made it part of a vacation.

Not a big fan of either Katchouk or Raddysh. Would rather have Foote straight up or a roster player like Cirelli or Erne. Then again Tampa wants to add and probably does not want to give up one of their better D prospects for a rental. So Tampa probably would try to use Katchouk because it would be no big loss for them.

maybe, since it's on NBC, we won't have to see that (frank)ing William Hill commercial twice every break.

Katchouk's 20 years old, 6'2, 199 lb, and has 40 points in 50 games in his first AHL season. He'll push for an NHL roster spot next year (maybe a call-up this year on a less stacked team). May never be a top-line LW, but I don't know what there's not to be a fan of. Raddysh is bigger, but is a year older and hasn't put up quite the same numbers. But again, he'll push for a spot next year. I'd gladly take either.

Remember when you were a kid and winter would come and the pond out by old man McGillicuddy's farm would freeze over and you and your friends would lace 'em up and don your heros' sweaters and pretend you scored the Stanley Cup game winning goal and would break for hot cocoa with marshmallows?

That's why.

Well I grew up in Philly so winter meant it was time to throw dirty snowballs at cars.

Neither are good skaters and both prospects are in the tier the Flyers have an abundance of. I don't expect a high level prospect for Simmonds, but filling a need of the Flyers would be the best use of trading Simmonds.

I personally would prefer someone who is not a clunky skater and can fill a bottom 6 role.

Well I haven't ever seen either play, so I can't vouch for their skating abilities personally. Also, not all prospects are guaranteed hits, so having a few extra middle-6/bottom-6 projected forward prospects isn't a bad thing, to me.

Just my view.

Raffl probably gets you a 4th at this point. Simmonds a 1st or a good prospect plus a 2nd.

What gives you the impression that Raffl will be traded
Cant see him on any rumor chart

Just commenting on what I believe his trade value to be. I have no idea if he’ll be moved.
