Go after one of the big fish.
Duchene, Karlsson, Stone, Panarin.
Trade a first and a prospect for a top 6 winger or a top 4 d.
Bring in a 2nd line center.
All ideas that add cap, knowing many are long shots. - ImThatGuy
No chance at all Panarin come here. |

Okposo still needs to go, all of a sudden everyone loves him, it's like a GoFundMe page with him now. - SABRES 89
This is a pretty bad take, 89. I think we're allowed to have a personal respect for another human being while simultaneously hating his on ice performance. |

Other than Hayes who else do you see fitting on this team?
? - washedup20
8 pylons would be an upgrade over 8 skaters the last 3 games |

No it isn't, he can't fight and why choose to, he knows his condition and has had no issues since last year. You don't fight when you are not a fighter. |

I heard Dzingel, Hayes, Brassard, EK 65 but that would be an off season thing, Toffoli,Duchene but only a time or two. Few other names but ones I heard are UFA's and I don't think Botterill wants to get involved in that now. - SABRES 89
Even one of those guys would bring a solid positive impact to this team, to varying degrees. Hope we're able to pull the trigger on at least one. |

My offseason preference
Eichel, obvious..he stays
Skinner, should be obvious...sign the man ( can you please limit it to 6 years)
Pommer, love ya man...but bye
Sheary, get rid of him
Mitts, stays..now needs to produce points
Sam, last year on bridge..producing well, he stays
ERod, stays, ideally in a 4th line role
Thompson, I'd trade him but would be ok with 1 more year..he needs to develop faster
Sobotka, I think we are stuck with a 3 goal scorer, put on 4th line, look to dump him
Girgenson, trade him for a coveted 6th
Larssons, see Girgs above
Okposo, I hope he comes to his senses and agrees to go on LTIR
Dahlin, does he have a brother?
Risto, trade bait, ship him out
Bogo, can they dump him and his fat contract
McCabe, good 3rd pairing, resign him for say $2-$2.25m
Pilut, retain
Blowboy, goner
Nelson, keep as 7th
Hunwick, I guess he stays for his last year, trade him if possible |

Absolutely true
Even if Kane & ROR absolutely HAD TO GO
What he brought in to replace them (besides Skinner) has been a disaster - jdfitz77
*This year*
Skinner replaced Kane as the winger they are willing to pay big $ to.
The legit criticism of JB could be that he didn’t bring in a legit top 9 center to shelter CM.

If Parise is available do you go after him? What would it take?
Age and cap might be an issue but id rather have those problems than what is presented on the ice lately - washedup20
No. |

Hey, I'm not saying it was equally as courageous as it was stupid. It was really stupid. But we all know the personal hell he went through before, and I really wouldn't wish that upon anyone. He put himself in this bad position, but it doesn't mean we can't wish him well. |

I think Dzingel and Toffoli would be a nice grab but, do that Kings move him and do the Sens move Dzingel after losing Duchene ? |

We got a good one! Be patient. Harrington has been on fire lately. I don't think the genius makes it through the post TDL presser without breathing into a brown paper bag. - Hatboro_Swords
You two are like Statler and Waldorf.
Let me find you guys a balcony - you can just sit up there and heckle the GM, egg on that tool Harrington and that fat slob Gleason.

Sounds like it will be a slow TDL in Buffalo again. This is all off season material.

Depends really, it can go either way, I think everyone would agree with that. IMO, we have more power in the off season and draft day but, GM's want 1st round picks. |

I can't see how it helps either team to lose those kinds of players. |

We have almost 30M in cap space for next year. Doesn't include Skinner or the rest of our RFAs, which will all make under 3M. - TheSabresTaco
We need to add a lot
Partner for Dahlin
2 wingers for the top6
A 2/3 Center
Maybe even a winger or 2 for line3 as well |

Your little rant is just awful mike. Wow.
Whose in charge of the sabres while the owners aren’t present? Who do you think is in charge? Pegula’s aren’t here to manage the team they are owners. That’s all.
How is Botterill not a respected name in the NHL? Guy was in the running for multiple GM jobs. There’s a reason for that. Botterill knows exactly what he’s doing Tim Murray didn’t know what he was doing. He literally has to start most of the rebuild over.
You were going off on Eichel on how he was acting like a little child but what’s the difference between this little rant of yours? Really man you need to take a step back. - Jammerz04

Or all the rest of his trades.
He has brought in 8 guys not counting Berglund on this roster.
23mm in cap space
87 total points this year. |
