Per McKenzie, like the deal for Minnesota but Coyle will help the Bruins.
Not official but hearing the trade is Coyle to BOS in exchange for Ryan Donato and a fifth-round pick. Details to come.

Wow that’s a steal for Wild

As ralph kramden would say, Coyle is a bummmmmm

Coyle is OK, he’s a decent fit for the Bruins. Looking at Donato, it seems like he’s more underwhelming then I thought he was. He still has time to be productive, but he’s had problems staying in the bigs 5 years after his draft year.

Yeah to me its just underwhelming. Coyle fits the Bruins style, Donato is still young and has the better potential. Neither is going to put a team over the top

That’s true. I’m not even sure he has that much potential. What’s funny is, if you look at the stats, Donato is a worse version of Jimmy Vesey.

Shhh, Vesey is the cool player to hate. He follows a long line of Ranger fans irrational hate.

The Calgary radio guy was on NHL network for quick interview, and was sucking Hayes and Zuccs willys pretty hard, saying they’d fit perfectly in their lineup. Really feel like one of them is going there

I just don't see it happening. We have enough guys on this team like him. Zucc has more points in less games than Coyle, and you want to do a one-for-one swap? No thanks.

From McKenzie

“Rangers are continuing to get a lot of action on their potential rentals,” noted McKenzie. “That would be Kevin Hayes, Mats Zuccarello, and Adam McQuaid. Right now I think it’s fair to say that it is more likely than not that all three of them will be traded by Monday. There seems to be a fair amount of action on all of them. The sense seems to be that Hayes could fetch a first-round pick, and a prospect. That Zuccarello could fetch a second-round pick and a prospect. And that Adam McQuaid could fetch, potentially, a third-round pick.

I’m more then on board with getting NHL ready guys, I’d enhance deals with zucc or Hayes by adding a second or something. We have to wait on so many guys already as it is

(frank) me! Sorry, Coyle got traded today.
For some reason I can't think of Dumba without thinking of Coyle.
Minn would have to throw some picks in to sweeten the pot taking that contract back. Plus I don't see us buying out any D this season.

Lemieux is playing in the NHL already, drafted a few years back. I would take Lemieux Roslovic Vesalainen or Niku

Hearing Sharks and Ducks are working on a Ryan Miller trade (likely for ~ a third round pick). The 38-year-old netminder has a modified NTC, allegedly won't be an issue though. Also, if he plays next year, told strong chamce he re-signs w/ Anaheim this summer.

I watched most of that game, and the Hawks are really fun to watch. No defensive presence whatsoever but offense out the ying yang

And Mantha, Larkin and AA skated circles around all of them like I’ve never seen, it was amazing lol
