I don't know if I totally agree with that. I think if Stone gets dealt the list of suitors for a player like that shrinks and so does the competition.

If the Sens hang onto him and don't move him, you still have a bunch of teams all competing for a smaller pool of players and the prices will be higher.

Not saying the Rangers are gonna get jack for Hayes, they'll get a nice return no matter what, but I think the key to an even-better return his Stone staying put.

According to a press box observer in Carolina last night, the Maple Leafs had two guys taking in Rangers-Hurricanes including AGM Laurence Gilman. The Leafs have scouted Carolina a lot but the Rangers would also be of interest to them.

I can’t see Washington making a move for one of the big guys like Duchene/Stone/Hayes but maybe a smaller one, Simmonds?

he's only 19 years old and there have been times where he was the best player on the ice and has scored a few highlight real goals. He's huge, fast, what's not to hype.

Either get him out of Hartford or get him guys to play with down there. It has to be killing his confidence down there. Bring him up and put him with Zib and Kreider after Zucc is traded to try and get him going
