For how up and down Zucc has been this year...he still is almost on a point per game level. 37 in 44
Why i never understood the narrative he is worth nothing more than a 2nd and a average prospect - TPC
He's got a mush brain. |

Idk, maybe you've heard of this thing called the trade deadline that is rapidly approaching? - tomburton99
I understand, but not sure why it was news(until jimbo told me) to report they are on the 1st PP unit which they always are. |

Friedman on 31 Thoughts says there are four teams that are the biggest ones on Artemi Panarin’s list, sort any way you want: #GoKingsGo, #Isles, #NYR and #FlaPanthers
Idk why he'd want to go to the Kings. They also only have like 13 million dollars to sign like 6 guys next year. |

Which is fine. I'll be here to take. You have Kravtsov, Chytil, Georgiev, Shesterkin, Lundkvist, Miller and maybes in Hajek & Andersson. Get me more MOAR!!!!!!!!!!
- tomburton99
I'm in complete agreement that this is one way to turn this ship around. BUT, how long do you give them? Also, what if it doesn't pan out? What's the next plan? |

I think we will be pleasantly surprised with our returns. I don't know what the Sens are asking for Stone, but a 1st and a good prospect for a Hayes/Zucc suddenly looks like paying alot less. I'm not sure we will totally fleece anyone, but we way get more value than perhaps we should. |

he seems to be worried about where hes going to live the next 6-7 years after living in Ohio for a couple years more than winning |

Some teams concerned about how the Mark Stone situation is playing out timing-wise now turning their attention to teams like the Rangers (Hayes, Zuccarello) as well, stepping up with their calls... Don't think the buyers want to wait until Monday and risk getting nothing

When the Rangers had the likes of Prime Lundqvist, Zucc, Girardi, Mcdonagh, Stepan, Nash, Kreider, Richards, MSL and other fan favorite you knew what they were laying for.
Now what are they playing for? If it doesn't workout now, start over. Just keep starting over. The only thing you lose as a fan is time. |

I agree on the fact that Hayes came into form when we was unleashed. If it was a straight up choice between keeping him or Zucc I would say Zucc. Hayes can fetch more on the market and Zucc is such a presence on a young team. If Zucc fetches a 2nd and a mid-tier prospect like some are saying i dont think it's worth it. If we get blown away by an offer than so be it. - picklerick

I just looked up their capfriendly and LOL. Might be almost as funny as the implosion to the Preds is Weber decided to retire this year. |

Yeah exactly. They need to move probably 2 of Kovi, Phanuef, Carter and Martinez. Who wants those contracts? |

For whatever it is worth: Zuccarello and Hayes on with first power play unit prior to formal morning skate at MSG. Howden in non contact jersey.

Yeah, that's true. I think after this rebuild is all said and done, they'll either be on the path to glory, or they'll need to step in and add some jolt to the roster, a la richards/gabby/nash/etc. Building a strong core should be the benchmark for how well this rebuild goes. |
