This whole debacle of a sequence started with Toews trying to pass from the left half board across the middle of the ice which got picked off and a few seconds later Larkin buried it giving Detroit momentum. Then the penalty and it's 4-3. And now Kane takes a penalty.

Hawks might win, but just like the win vs the Sens it’s more evidence of why wanting this team to eek their way into the playoffs is silly.

The more I think about it though looking at our remaining schedule the more it appears we’ll be drafting much closer to 10-15 overall instead of 1-5.

Not good.
