I think he's exactly what you want in a third line center. Good pickup for boston |

Pretty good trade for both teams |

I ask because if you find it then I would like to see it. If it does show no contact than the league should be fining Paquette for embellishment, but you would think if the DoPS saw that video their ruling would of been different. Then again the NHL is so screwed up with any form of consistent structure now.
Also sometimes even when it looks like no big deal it can still have effects, there are hard plastic shoulder pads underneath those jerseys that look super loose fitting, but aren't. Not sure if you have been tagged with a shoulder in the face before, but modern day shoulder pads hurt. - Glak18
I just call things based on the way I see them. The contact wasn’t visible from any angle, but from the one freeze frame, I could see the height of Hagg’s jersey, the part that came closest to #13, it was at his shoulder. Even if he connected, #13 has a pad there too. When he is down, do you see him vaguely holding his nose first?
This is like Hägg being guilty of that 4 minute high stick.
If you are asking if I trust the league to be impartial or if I think that player is trustworthy, the answer to both is NO. |

Reference for first goal that deflected off Ghost's skate.
1)
- Glak18
You can draw all the arrows you want on it. The play happened as I described it and broke down the coverage. Coverage is man to man. The player on the boards closest to us is Patrick's check.
2)
As for the 2nd I can agree that yes he has to take the man, but the puck deflected as he was boxing out, turned as the puck was going past Hart (because if the puck hit differently he could of swept the puck out), got pushed as the puck bounced back off the post. Could Amac played it differently, no question, but either way it was a tough play for ANY defenseman in that situation. - Glak18
It's a fundamental play. A defenseman should ignore the puck there and neutralize his stick and check. |

Not to mention that a big part of the reason for the contact, what little there was, is because Paquette turned to try and avoid Haag. Haag didn't have his arm up or move his body to hit the player.

If I am being honest, I thought Hägg was trying to intimidate him not hit him. |

No but I'm a fan so I will always cheer for them to win and Gudas being in the lineup gives them the best chance to win. I don't believe in cheering for losing. - bulet13
It's not about cheering for losing. Realistically they aren't making the playoffs and not having Gudas for 2 games likely has very little effect on that. |

Video and screen shots clearly show Patrick covering his man, Stamkos, and Amac following JT Miller across the ice way out of position. Luckily for Amac, Ghost is terrible at blocking shots so it went in and the open man to the side of the net didn't have a tap in. |

Video and screen shots clearly show Patrick turning his back to his check allowing his man to go to the net unchecked. MacDonald did exactly what he is supposed to do in the Flyers defensive man to man coverage scheme. You didn't address the situation on the dump in and how Gostisbehere left his partner out to dry. |

I am not defending AMac because I didn’t think he had a good game especially in the first. I also will not defend Ghost, who had a very bad game. I feel like it is a bit like deciding which of our defenseman smelled worse. It is depressing.

Reading social media I realize there is a serious issue with chemical imbalance, either not enough or too much.
Imagine being a fan of a sports team, hating your coach and then after they get fired finding anyway to bring them up and blame them MONTHS after while your team is winning. You really can't get any more socially awkward than that. - Glak18

Love blasting that concert on youtube. The acoustic version of psycho killer with the drum machine backing track to open the show sounds like a scaled back song you'd hear on 104.5 these days - pinkfloydfreak
Possibly the best live album ever and definitely the best concert film ever. |

It wasn't a miss, no question he made contact with the jaw. You can literally see his head whip in slow motion. If Hagg had any history he would of been suspended too. - Glak18

I watched the dump in, I saw Amac clear the puck up the boards, I saw the one-timer blocked...I don't care.
I was talking about the poor coverage after the blocked shot then and now. |

Seems like you need to watch it again. MacDonald did not clear the puck up the boards. That is not what happened. You should care because that is why the goal happened. The poor coverage there was not by MacDonald.
