Done deal..Duschene a habs - WaterBoy
Regardless of who Ottawa trades with, can't wait to see how Dorion will find new ways to get fleeced. |

He'll get fleeced, then get fired, and then they'll expect the new GM to become their saviour and clean up the whole mess. |

i do wonder if Montreal takes a run at him in UFA - DoubleDown
He'll inquire but when the demands reach close to 9 a year for 6 years he'll settle for Eberle |

Lots of talking heads saying he could be a target for the habs next summer - Pat1993
doubt Montreal would be among his top choices but they're a competitive team that will be able to put together a big offer for him if they want. |

Duchene? I think he'd come to Montreal, he was excited at the idea before he was moved to Ottawa.... but I dont think Bergy will cough up 8+ for him.... and that's the right move no doubt |

Or the Panthers - Pat1993
can't help but think part of the problem for the Panthers, outside of the fact that they always suck, is that they play next to a (frank)ing outlet mall in a Fort Lauderale suburb 20 miles inland. |

i think he'd come, just don't think it'd be his first choice.
but now i realize he's 28... thought he was younger. so there's the risk that he starts slowing down in a year or two and then you end up with 3 massive contracts for guys who are slowly breaking down in their 30s... |

And with Suzuki and Poehling close, I wouldn't clog up the middle too much... like I said, Eberle for 5 years @ around 6 would be alright, would give them another right handed goal scorer besides Gallagher |

Duchene is 5'11 and one of the fastest skater in the NHL, he doesn't have the profile of a guy who will slow down. |

They can be all moved to the wing, harder to find a center. Eberle is underperforming with a good team |
