This "Quality Start" stat gets used around a bit. This is how its measured, I think:



Anything over 60% is great, anything under 50% is bad, while league average being 53%.

Last year, Marky was 50.9%, and this year, he's 55.6%, so a big improvement.

Cheers! Hadnt heard of that, seems like a very legit stat from what i could dig up. Codes my main thing with Marky is i feel posters are neglecting how bad he was October/November. He’s really picked his game up though, some of the stats being thrown at me are changing my mind a bit. I kinda just thought he had a great december and jan. Sort of 2/4 months situation.

Whyyy would they move Motte up to Bos line? He does his bottom 6 job so well they should just leave him there. No reason not to put Roussel there. Hell I'd rather see Granlund on that line.

Virtanen has more goals in 58 games this year, than he did in 70+ last year, and before his rib injury, was in a goal-less drought.

The significance you wonder? just because a player had a bad string of games, doesn't mean they haven't improved. Facts and stats don't care about feelings

sure don’t! But i hold onto eye test too, he licked chode for two months and has been really good for two months. I stand by that, but the good does outweigh the bad. Numbers dont lie
