Hated that format in my rec league. One bad first game - doomed. Nothing like starting the second game, looking up at the scoreboard and you're down 6 - 2 before the puck drops.

It's a gut buster.

Totally, and Kadri to not get suspended. His line has the potential to be the difference up front if he can take advantage of playing against the Bruins' third line. It won't be easy but given the right wingers they could do some damage.

Now if we can make the powerplay zone entry look better than a kindergarten cat drawing...yeeesh

Yes...tried it for 2 years in my beer league...it was horrible...for us.

Yeah, my beer league has a similar format.

Except they don't count total of goals.... it's basically a best of 3 with the third game being one overtime period if both teams won a game.

We're switching leagues next year.

Yea. Kadri needs to keep his head on straight this time. For sure the Bruins try to goad him in to something worthless. A little maturity in the group this time around will help too. Plus JT.

I'm the only guy on here that loves the divisional playoff formats, because I think regional rivalries
and playoff rematches are the best. I like when two top contenders meet in the first round too. A Leafs vs. Bruins rematch is gonna be amazing.
