Does anyone have a link to the goal....I think it was a high stick. I'd watch it again though and maybe change my mind.

I was talking about the Wagner goal from last night where I think the officials need to be held accountable.

We played great without Nylander too, doesn't mean we should suspend him
- Garnie

Nylander has talent.

And what about the disallowed goal Boston scored in the first that was clearly over the line?

If anything, allowing Wagner's goal is a total make up call.

How did that Wagner goal count when the Nylander goal didn't on Saturday. Same call made on the ice - goal.

Inconsistency and incompetence.

I think he taps it legally into the net. He taps it down with a high-stick. If that's not called, there's nothing reviewable there. Then he taps the puck in from the ice. That's a good goal, but it was permitted by the linesmen missing the high stick.

i am wondering to what extent it is feasible that some good UFAs won't find a team in NHL coming season, just because a lot of young guys (RFAs) get significant pay increases..

guys like stralman, gardiner etc. might have to settle for way less than they are looking for, just because of the fact that most teams won't have any capspace (marner, kapanen, johnsson for toronto - winnipeg has some guys as well - tampa the same with point etc..).

teams probably need to fill out rosters with players on 1million salaries, and the guys that are looking for 3-5million/year might not find a place..?

The ref is like 10 feet away and looking right at it. That ref is clearly blind (and shouldn't in the NHL) or is a Bruins fanboy (and shouldn't be in the NHL)

Look at his hand going nuts when it goes in.

that's such a joke.

Exactly. That's where the play ends. He clearly and obviously high-sticks it.

And it's a joke that that isn't reviewable.

I hate Boston just as much as anyone who isn't UG in here. And I guess Rick James.

But we don't want more reviewable plays that bring a play back. The offside review is terribly implemented. Would we introduce high sticks, too? What about penalties that led to goals? Slew foots? Hand passes?

It was a missed call, and it sucks that it went the Bruins way.

Anybody else sad that Jumbo didn't score 4? He'd have to whip his Richard out like he promised all those years ago.

Wrong. I absolutely want it reviewed. It'll take, at most, 5 seconds. It could literally be done before the players get to their bench and celebrate.

Take as much control as possible away from the on ice idiots.

EDIT: And most importantly, get the (frank)ing call right!

Agree, it won't take long. I can call it from home within 10 seconds. Review all scoring plays. Get it right.
