Yeah I guess I shouldn't have said high end talent, since that implies the Sidney Crosbys of the world. I meant more guys who produce at traditional top 6 rates at even strength. You're not gonna find a ton of sustained success if everyone on your third line is producing below a sub 1.6 pts/60 clip at even strength.

DK was hosting Madden's show today. Did an interview with Lang. Lang insists Pearson will prove to be a really good player for us even though it hasn't gone great so far. I tend to agree with him. I think Sully has mangled the lines so much this season that some of these guys have had trouble finding roles and chemistry. And again, he was forced to play a good chunk of games with Brassard.

One thing about Lang... He has a really keen eye for recognizing good players and he also doesn't throw around compliments like a lot of homer announcers.

Jesus christ... Kucherov is having the best season of anyone since atleast before the 2000s. Even better than Crosby in his best point per game season back when he got concussed. the last person that had as good of a season as kucherov was Jagr and Mario back in the 95-96 season... jikes

Does the top half of the standings have a bye week or something?...I ended up 58th overall but figured only tops of divisions would get a bye week.
