Two very bad teams. What a joke for anyone thinking the Hawks are a playoff team.

16 teams make it...pretty sure there is some history that would indicate they are typically not all good.

Can someone explain what KANE just did? Had the puck, no one around him in the D zone, and managed to give it up, and Ward had to make 2 unbelievable stops to bail him out.

Win or lose this is a game that should cement in to the minds of all Hawks fans the truth about this team. We aren’t playoff material, and we need to draft as close to #1 as possible because that gives us the most to gain BIG PICTURE. Hopefully the Sens can pull this one out. Man are they terrible though. They might even be worse than the Hawks which is saying something...
- SimpleJack

Indeed. Even Detroit winds sometimes several in a row and it does not make them a contender. And for those who say drafting high did not work for this or that team like oilers, it worked pretty well for pens and Hawks a decade ago and seems to work well for Toronto and Winnipeg recently.

Yup. Basically the higher you draft the greater your chance is at drafting elite young talent. Not rocket science. And if you aren’t championship material anyways, then what have you got to lose?

It’s games like this that our team would be much better off losing. Winning this game does us zero good.

LOL yea I think he did use it. It's a hilarious song if you dub it over comedic routines, such as tonight's hockey game we're watching.
