It’s a tough call. The question is fraught with danger, but there are no chickens left.

The real problem is that the loss of either one is devastating. We are too weak at center with either out. That part is like choosing between a hurricane and a tornado.

G still has more offense and Coots has more defensive skills. G and Coots are both good at faceoffs and the PK. I give G an edge on PP and 3 on 3 and Coots the edge on 4 on 4 and 3 on 5 extra man down situations.

I think they are both leaders. If forced to choose, I go with the Captain. A day is fast approaching that Coots becomes more important. However, as long as G is a Flyer, he stays captain. Coots will not beat G’s all time Flyers numbers even if he remains a lifetime Flyer as well.

right now, no.

It’s weird. Theyre winning so much. But you just know they aren’t even close to having it. The fans know it. They need much more.

I hope Talbot is available to play Thursday against Montreal. With the game tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday. That would be 5 games in 8 days for Hart. Don’t. Please. If Talbot can’t go, recall Lyon for Thursday. Right now with how badly we need every point, Lyon is better than McKenna and the still recovering Elliott. Rest Hart.

Will Meyers get more ice time against Tampa? I really wouldn't mind seeing Amac sit for a game and let Meyers get some ice time.

Honestly...as much as I love him, I might actually sit Ghost against TB. Love the guy and all, but against a team like TB, he could get eaten alive.

I didn’t hear the complete interview of Ghost or Gordon post game on Saturday after the first Detroit game. There was a bit of controversy on Twitter about Ghost whining about usage and Gordon saying Ghost needed to be better defensively. It seemed to feed from the theory that his confidence was part of his up and down struggles. Ghost denied this.
