On another note, while people choose players to b!tch about, man is Boeser the absolute worst back checking player on the team, good thing he can score goals.

It's hard to back-check when you're a poopty skater, but ya, good thing he can shoot

Saw this on twitter this morning.

"Out of 56 games that gudbranson has played this year, he has been on the ice for 44% of the goals scored against the team. (76 of 172)."

Obviously a skewed stat for those who play on the PK vs those who dont, but a funny stat none-the-less.

Brutal.

I do like the way Stetcher and Hutton have stepped up as the bandaid #1 pairing though. It's when injuries hit that you really see a true seperation between good role players that step up and the bad ones that get exposed. Hutton and Stecher for me have 100% separated themselves from Gudbranson/Pouliot so far this season.

Not to say that Hutton/Stecher guys are perfect either, but at least we've seen that they can step up and that Green does trust them a lot more than the other 2.

Agreed. Which is also a huge jump from last year when they were both in and out of the dog house. They took the feedback and ran with it

He needs horvats skating coach. His skating is pretty sub-par for the NHL.

Didn't watch last night, out watching major midget but saw the highlite on burns interference on gudbranson that caused a goal.

Horvats skating in his first year was pretty average. I remember sportsnet doing a segment on him and how he stressed his skating needed immediate work. Kid worked his tail off all summer with a power skating coach and then he started dangling NHL players at full speed the following season. Bo has crazy work ethic, can tell the kid wants to win.

I guess it can't hurt to try, but dude's with shorter legs and longer torsos are kinda screwed when it comes to being great skaters/explosive athletes.

I believe with Bo, it was more about his clunky technique, he already had the explosive athletic ability to be a strong skater.

It wasn't his or Pouliot's worst games, my comment was more about the season as a whole.

Good question.
That’s a good comparison imo.

I probably would.

I like Bo.
Future captain.
2c.
Could score 30/30 with right wingers.

Ekblad is a #1D.
Minute muncher
Has had injuries and gets paid a pile.

Reluctantly I would.
Gaudette can replace Bo (maybe).
We have no one line Ekblad.
