Tell me on what NHL team is this allowed to happen without the coach doing something? What coach allows their best player to get boarded and do nothing?

Do you watch the games?

I said it already and I will say it again.

Housley is a dumpster fire and Botts is not far behind.

I see some of you posting in less then a week have changed your minds.

Its ok, I am always ahead of the curve.

Housley stinks.

Botts is doing just fine. He hasn’t made a regrettable FA signing, yet. His patience allowed us to suck and get Dahlin and I liked the Mittelstadt selection. The Skinner trade was a home run. The Scandella/Pommer for Ennis and Foligno was a win even with how bad Scandella has been this year cause we got out of Ennis’ contract. The ROR trade is up for interpretation, but if we sign contributors with the cap space left behind I think we win the trade by turning 1 asset into a possible 4. Hutton was signed for less then $3M and is what it is. Sheary was only accquried for a 4th and we can get out of that this offseason or worse case scenario he is gone next offseason. We have managed to replenish the assets Murray wasted and improved this year. Mittelstadt, Thompson and Dahlin will be better next year with a full year under their belt.

Because over the past 10+ games they've been giving up 4+ goals per game and they changed to a more defensive system
- joevthree

except it's been almost 150 games of this same thing?

What NHL coach allows its superstar to get boarded and do nothing?

When Benn hit Eichel and almost killed him Housley just chewed his gum and shrugged but keep telling me how its the players.

Botts hired Housley. Thats on Botts.

If Botts ties himself to Housley then Botts is done too.

Botts assembled this trash and Housley is the leader

They are soft, they show no sense of urgency and they play 10 minutes out of 60.

weak weak weak.

Dude I got laughed at for having that opinion.

I see the armchair hockeybuzz GMs are finally seeing it.

When Benn hit Eichel and Housley did nothing I would have fired his ass there.

They clearly are not improving even though they have all this alleged talent. What we are watching is POTENTIAL at it's level best.... Potential has never won a single game....

Phil's post game of chewing gum?

so you are ok with that hit and the team not responding since you blame the players and not the coach. Its not the coach who sends the message.

Sorry you are wrong.
