Playing with Tarasenko is helping his 5v5 scoring. We never had a Tarasenko for him to play with here.
- Pegullaville

He was playing very well the first half of the year while Tarasenko was in the tank.

not the same

bills should have beat the jags with an average offense and advanced

sabres would get BLOWN out by the bolts

- homiedclown

Yet, they haven't been blown out by them once this season.

If he still looks that good 3 years from now then I’ll bite my tounge. Even with ROR this Sabres team is going nowhere this year. Could we have gotten a better return ? Maybe. Thompson could turn out to be quite the player and we could get a good player in the first round this year and all of a sudden Botts looks like a genius. Time will tell.

Between the playoff push and the ROR trade I can still you are extremely shortsighted.

Saying who won the ROR trade after 56 games is obsurd. Cross that bridge when we come to it. Talk to me in 2021-2022 when the Sabres may be Cup Contenders, Tage is 23-24 and fully developed and we know what we have in the 1st rounder. ROR could be a 30 year old hasbeen cap anchor and the Blues will finally be starting the rebuild they should have started this year before trading for the guy.

IF Tage develops into a good player
IF the 1st rounder ends up being a good player
IF O’Reilly becomes a “has been” at 30

LOTS of assumptions there without anything to back them up

And manwhile...
you’re cheering for us to LOSE

What can I say, the draught needed to end
- BeadyEyedDouche

Super red-hot take of the day : In my opinion, the drought is still on. The Chargers destroyed us that year and ended up with the same record, therefore they should have gotten in over us. I don't care what the real tie-breaker was - head to head is the only one that matters to me and the Chargers killed us. The drought is still on - I firmly believe this and nobody can change my mind.

This is what Buffalo sports has done to me. Not even sure a championship can cure me at this point. Going on 54 years old this year ... I think i'm too far gone ...

Better off keeping them and tanking. Cheer for mediocrity. Losing to Nashville in the first round is a lot more efficient then continuing on the road to a top 5 pick right ?

I wonder how many Flyers fans are cheering right now that they totally franked a chance at Kakko or Hughes just to draft 12th.

The Flyers are a disaster of an organization. Still clinging onto a core of players that have done collectively NOTHING for them.

They should liquidate their roster at the TDL but they won't. I kinda feel bad for their fans but also, f*ck Philly.

I was all on board for the eichel tank and the dahlin tank.

At some point making a 15-20 point jump has to help the organizations psyche

Free agents just won't consider the Sabres.
Not that were on anyone's list now especially
