Just withhold another 50 bucks each week and you’ll actually get paid $2150 next year.

That's called gas money and I need it now.

Joking? They give us the odds....

Trying to show it's not an impossibility to win a top 3 pick while finishing between 10th-13th.

More importantly, that should not be necessary, and why should the government receive what is in essence a tax free loan?

NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION

So when the government was shut down, pray tell, who was representing us?

At least we're getting that wall that everyone who voted for Trump won't live to see

I was being sarcastic. I “owe” every year. It doesn’t mean I’m getting jobbed. I like to keep my money too.

Of course it’s possible
Just very unlikely
U can see the odds for finishing in each position

We are probably gonna miss the playoffs
The difference is,
I’ll still be cheating for us to win...
because that’s what makes sports FUN

Not hoping we finish 10th & having a 3.5% chance at winning the lotto
Instead of finishing 14th & having a 1.5% chance of winning

If that 2% is what makes it worth it for you (or whoever) to cheer for us to actually lose...
well, by all means
You do you

I guess some ppl are just bandwagon fans

- jdfitz77

The other part of my point is we can root for the team to win while still having it be possible to win a top 3 pick in the lottery even if they just miss the playoffs.

Amazing how much better he's producing while being 'the man' compared to when he was on the Sabres.

Rather than Phil calling his team soft, perhaps he should lay these losses squarely on their shoulders.
"Well, they played one of the best teams in the league the other night in this system and won a key game. They played the Isle's type of game better than the Isle's did by fully commtitting to excellent Defensive, two-way play. It was a powerful demonstration of 5 players playing as a cohesive unit up and down the 200'. When we play that way, the same way I have been coaching them for nearly two seasons now, the way we have been practicing during that timeframe, and teaching them to correct issues through video analys...well we win.
When they come out and get lazy and cheat that system, well I have to wonder if this team has some of the dumbest players in the world on the roster. I mean, they refused to play the last coach's systsm as well. I'm not sure when it will click in their heads, but we'll go back and demonstratecthexsystem again, and practice it again. Come Sunday, we will see if their cement heads are really that thick."

Well yeah...
of course there’s a slim chance we could win the lotto
That would be great!

I’m not gonna cheer for us to lose like some obviously are though

Don’t worry, we got Berglund to play 2C for about 6 games
Worked out great!

Our PP is great too
Couldn’t use any help at all there either

Playing with Tarasenko is helping his 5v5 scoring. We never had a Tarasenko for him to play with here.

Between the playoff push and the ROR trade I can still you are extremely shortsighted.

Saying who won the ROR trade after 56 games is obsurd. Cross that bridge when we come to it. Talk to me in 2021-2022 when the Sabres may be Cup Contenders, Tage is 23-24 and fully developed and we know what we have in the 1st rounder. ROR could be a 30 year old hasbeen cap anchor and the Blues will finally be starting the rebuild they should have started this year before trading for the guy.
