Spend spend so much of their day orchastrating an image that they want other to see. There’s very few people who see the benefits of being modest, but it’ll bite them in the ass. My neighbour just got a new fancy snowblower - our driveway is done before I get my boots on. Today was classic, he did ours first...I waited till he was done, got my gear on, walked out with my little red snow shovel looking all dejected and disappointed at the clean, snow free driveway - then at him, hung my head down, turned around and slowly walked back in and closed the garage door, without saying a word to him.

He was still laughing when I looked out a few minutes later.

And unless you live around me, your shovelling struggles sorta fall on deaf ears. The rink I started a month ago is kicking my ass. The banks are 5ft high now, it never stops dumping here 😔

You are good. I don't drink pop either - one or two a year. I average about 4 beers a week now. Drink loads of ice water.

Yeah, I was drinking too much lol. Then I started dating a recovering alcoholic, so that pretty much makes me a recovering alcoholic. I like it now. I still like a fizzy drink but try to not do the sugary ones. My buddy got diabetes from that poop.

I wanna get into watching football soccer but it would suck doing it without someone who knows the game better than I do. My uncle (works for Muskoka brewery) brought me a 12pack of cream ale and I’m gonna savour it.. like 1 beer every 2 days. Tbh I think a cat (or dog I guess) would greatly improve the quality of my life.

The pileated woodpecker who is destroying my bird feeder doesn’t want to be friends, and I don’t like seagulls.
