I never meant for those guys, the ask is a roster players first rounder and prospect. Appleton and Lemieux are fourth liners on jets but they are both roster players under 24 who may be top 9 in Ottawa? Dorian can ask whatever he wants from teams, doesn’t mean he is going to get it.

completely different situation. Right now Stone + Duchene are on fire and teams like Jets are knocking on the door with Nashville, Calgary, Toronto, Tampa all standing in the way from a cup. Stone is a heart and soul player. Granted I would want a contract in place if I'm going to give up a lot but players like him don't come along often and acquiring him also means other teams don't add him

Lemeiux , much like his father was, has been a tour-de-force on the 4th line for the Jets the last 15 or so games. Tough as nails, tons of heart, tremendous work effort, great hands, blazing speed. I would hate to see the Jets lose him but his price has now risen substantially from where it was even a few months ago. If Zucc ends up being our guy then I feel its a fair price.

Better than them? 2015 draft year is going down as one of the best ever. Vesalainen in a weak draft was drafted late.

Niku got injured in his draft year, which was 2015. If not for his injury we would never have gotten him in the 7th round. Teams stayed away from him based on his injury, otherwise he was gone in the 2nd round.

Stone is from Winnipeg...he would most likely re-sign with his hometown team and maybe for less than he would for other teams as the jets with him would be cup favorites. Stone is like Bergeron from Boston but younger and a RW instead of a C.

not to mention he score again VS the jets.

Trade Connor, Niku+ for Stone use the money that would have gone to Connor to keep Stone, and have Roslovic be your future 2C. have Vesa come in next year, if he not ready, Jets would still have the most dangerous 2 lines in the NHL.
