I thought they came along mid season. I was wrong. Oct 19. 1 great year, 2 meh since they came along. I hope nothing but the best for him in his future, but it was time to move on.

But seriously, I agree that Gagner does seem to have a higher hope of maybe being a somewhat useful NHL'er. Both guys are soft and don't have the speed or elite talent to make up for it though, those types of players are always frustrating to watch because they're invisible when not creating offense.

Well, we're one of the few teams in the league with a weaker bottom-6 forwards and Spooner couldn't crack out roster soooo...

Gagner has 51% of his points on the PP in the AHL. He's 29. A 29 year old PP "specialist." Hope it works out. Can't be worse than what Spooner turned into to be fair.

It was horrible from the start that made no sense....it’s not like we can get anything of value for Manning with his contract....we would have to add....so that leaves playing him which hasn’t gone so well or dumping him in the AHL.....it’s lose/lose/lose regardless....at this point I would just be happy with the cap space

That would be awesome if a team did that I just don’t know if any contenders want that contract for this year and next....if it happened tho I would be thrilled

Our 2nd PP unit yesterday "featured" Rattie, Cave, Lucic and Russell alongside Klefbom; fair to say he'll get some PP time
