I agree. If JR wants the cup this year he needs multiple players who can step up and help this team right away.

Lol it is true that they may need quite a bit of help this year to get them over the hump

I really don't think they do. When you watch their 3rd periods or when they had their win streaks this year they obviously CAN do it. But it's up to them to play 60 min now. It's crunch time. Yes we can use an addition on defense to play with Schultz but it's not like they are gonna make several trades and we are gonna be ok. They must start putting in 60min and we can compete with a lot of teams.

Today's game is gonna be very telling of what this team wants to do.

Agreed! I think effort for 60 minutes is the biggest thing which is lacking from this team. Hopefully we can go on a winning stretch which can start with today

It is weird but at least they didn't play late last night. They most likely went to New York right after the game.

Hey guys,

Interested what you thought about the hit on Czarnik and the fight after.

For me those hits are what the game is missing, love that poop.

Have no issue with the fight after as well. If you have small guys on your team can't let them get pushed around.

Would love to see a best of 7 against you guys.

The problem is, some of these games they are having great third periods because the other team is worn out from kicking their asses in the first two. They need everyone healthy and some more help.

Not to mention, teams have still yet to load up. If they stand pat and everyone else loads up, they might end up missing on the playoffs.

Our direct threats are Carolina and CBJ and I doubt either load up. Making the playoffs will be great for Carolina as a thing in and of itself but their ability to actually contend is limited and I doubt their GM will deviate from their so far successful long term plan to sell the farm for one long shot Cup run. Meanwhile, CBJ could trade Panarin at any moment at which point they're not gonna be buyers.

Yeah I didn't say stand Pat I said get a 2nd pair dman to play with Schultz. And I'm not gonna throw names out there because Ruth always has these random trades that happen. Not one single person had ever brought up Bjugstad and McCann and here they are haha.

Wow haha. Crazy thing is when we play them we play them well I think. we are 1-2 but no blowouts either way. We need to desperately get in our division IF we are gonna make the playoffs so that we don't face them first or second round.

I think Letang, Billy G, Wrecking ball maybe Rutherford needs to show Peterson how to fight a little bit. Love the guys game but Jesus he looks like a baby deer with a knee blown off walking on ice when he scraps.

Is Tyler Bertuzzi considered part of the future core in Detroit?

I would imagine so, but that's a question Feds will have to answer.
