Yeah, but by that same token he has only 5 games of playoff experience. I mean, Cullen was pretty good in the playoffs a few years ago too!

I'm not against the guy at all and I think he could be successful here. I just think it's weird that people criticize guys like Hornquist and then act like Bjug is great.

Well Cullen is old as hell now Bjugstad still has plenty left in the tank. I haven't heard the Bjugstad is great stuff but have heard that we shouldn't have resigned Horny to that contract because his body will wear out the way he plays. But he's very nice to have come playoff time hes just a warrior, hopefully he gets back on the scoresheet soon. Hey looks like Bjugstad and Horny can end up together so hopefully they both bring it!

If they can ditch Pearson's contract they could make the space to extend Duchene at $9-10m. Obviously a stretch but if you want to go all in on the Side and Geno area, that is a guy who could extend it.

I don't think they're going after an LD. I'd have to think it would be an RD at this point since Maatta would be back for the playoffs if they make it.

In Rino's defense, ZAR's a total pigeon, but as far as passangers go there are far less useful passangers. I don't at all mind ZAR but I don't ever want him making more than $2 mil on this team. He's a $1.5 mil dime a dozen player.

He’s produced pretty well the last two years given how poopty the Rangers have been. His first season he was really bad though.

I'm ecstatic that Bjugstad is finally going to get some time playing 3C, but let's be realistic, it's only going to take Rust or ZAR having a bad game for one or two periods before Bjugstad replaces them and McCann is back at 3C.
