I actually love those three as a checking line. All three guys work hard and make the most of what they have to work with.

I think Pitt and the Habs has what it takes to fall out of the playoffs. I think we have what it takes to beat Buffalo.

To me they have been the difference maker on any given night. Even with Simmonds playing at 70% they have spent a lot of time in the O zone. Laughton is underrated, imo. At times he is the best player on the ice. I wish he could bury a few more but he is hard to play against for other teams. He is always going... he reminds me of arvidsson from Nashville, just without arvy's talent. Laughton is another guy who keeps slowly getting better and better under the radar

Phantoms lose in a shootout to Hershey 3-2 . Morin and Elliott did not play. Knight scored both goals. AubeKuble looks fully recovered and played a strong physical game.

We know the pens will make a deal. What ? Who knows but their offerings are not very good for a big prized trade candidate. We have tons of wanted items to bring somebody in but I’m not at the stage of buying with no future on the player. Meaning if they aren’t signed or under team control I’m not interested in a stone type player. I fact I would prefer to just go as we are and go into next year with this similar team with now a good goaltender in net. Simmonds ? Maybe four years I would go at 7 million per. Raffl is a solid forth liner but we can get cheaper and younger next year .

I think the Pens are going to be looking for same qualities the Flyers need to add. Speed and quickness.

Hes always had high end tools never put it together consistently. Hoping he can be a late bloomer. Gordon has gotten the best out of a lot the kids
