No question and most likely career for Neuvirth. Maybe he gets lucky and gets a contract overseas, but his days in the NHL are over.

You cant teach 6"5 but you also cant teach being healthy either. Stolarz has had a lot of lower body issues. I cant be too upset with the deal thecause while Talbot has been bad, he also has a sucessful history. Stolarz has 19 NHL games under his belt.

I like the kid but if the Flyers sign Talbot at a lower cap hit than 4 mill and he bounces back, it will easily be a win.

All in all its a good deal for both sides, much needed cap space for oil for a decent stand up guy that is a mentor to Hart.. Hopefully you can re sign Talbot on the cheap and he can regain some of his former self

We finally win a trade. Getting the cap space i thought would cost the oil a second rounder, esp with philly not being on talbots trade list. Im sure he will get at least 10 games with edmonton the rest of the way. Goalies always seem to do better away from philly as well.

Talbot is not a bad goalie. Hes having a bad run because hes playing behind the absolute worst d-core in the league. He will surprise you guys in the playoffs. This was a beneficial trade for both sides I think.

If Stolarz knee can hold up, his highest ceiling is probably a backup playing no more than 20-25 games. Wish him the best because he has size and decent lateral movement.
