Honestly, the asking price may be higher for stone, but at the same time, it's going to include a 1st for dzingel, and probably a middling prospect. Whereas for stone it'd be niku or vesalainen. Personally as a jets fan as well, I'd rather go for the better player if I"m spending my 1st rounder anyways. Almost winning isn't the same as winning. And 1 player is far better than the other.
I still don't see a fit for stone on the jets roster aside from a rental, and personally think they should be doing something to get duchene for little and a 1st kind of thing, but that's just me. Then they can sign duchene long term and win some cups. May have to include myers or someone else to get some cash out. But not a huge deal. |

It's not Stone going to Winnipeg asking price is to high for them they are after Dzingel instead while Colorado and Calgray are looking at stone and Nashville and Columbus competing for Duchene
