Very clever strategy by the new GM, whoever it is.

I don't mind spiciness but I see no benefit in killing your mouth and poopting your bed later at night.

Well, your wife wouldn't be hogging the sheets that night, so there's one....

I feel like I have a different goal while eating than you people who eat these stupidly hot peppers do.
- GreatGigInTheSky

Yes lol. Superhots is a dopamine chase more than food. I've had endorphin buzzes for hours after eating fresh habs. Although once you habituate to the heat, there is a unique flavour to the very hot peppers that you can't get from anything else. Also fun fact, hot peppers are extremely rich sources of vitamin C. Also I use heat for seasoning because I'm on a very strict low sodium diet.

Scotch Bonnets for me hands down. Best flavour all around in my opinion.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but Chipotles are just smoked Jalapenos no?

- TheMuzzel

Yes chipotles are smoked jalapenos. Usually left to ripen to red also.

Very good point, high quality extracts are great seasoning. You can get a variety with different levels of heat and managed properly can add significantly to flavouring. I recerntly tried simple but delicious dessert. Vannila bean ice cream with hot and spicy dark chocolate sauce, served with a glass of Trockenbeerenauslese. Was really tasty.

Scotch bonnets are definitely a good one.

And yeah, they're just smoked jalapenos, but goddamn does it kick the flavour up a few notches
