You go away from here! - Woderwick
I'm keeping my expectations low so I can be pleasantly surprised when I check the result later. I'm gonna miss the game because I'm playing Jenga with my support group.

Hockey culture is so (frank)ing strange, man.
Score too many goals? Well, the next injury to your star is just the hockey gods getting you for running up the score.
Celebrate too much? Disrespectful - Why are you having fun?
Don't show up in a suit? THE SKY IS FALLING HOW CAN YOU PLAY HOCKEY IF THERE ISN'T A SUIT HANGING 200 YARDS AWAY!?!?!????
- lumlums
I agree with that one, actually. All professional athletes should have to wear suits, in my opinion. They're the public face of the business. They should have to look sharp.
Plus, they're all stupid rich and can afford them.

It looks good for the kids too. I like the sportsmanship of keeping the celebrations low key too, especially in a blowout. Also, act like you've been there before. I love Kessel for his non-celebration celebration.
Also these guys probably love to show off fine threads, if I had that cash I'd be dressed to suppress all the time.
Mathews, nylander, and gardiner for mcdavid. Put brown and kap with mcdavid. Talk about a fast line. Crazy or genius lol. Oilers once upon a time traded gretzky. - ziffles
People that speak or type after 1 am ? Don’t even think of twisting off another beer cap.....go to bed and re read your stupitidy in the morning !! Dear Lord

When I played, I was never a celebration guy when I scored but when someone else scored I got a lot more into it.
Only time I ever celebrated my goals was when it was against someone I absolutely (frank)ing hated.

Lol yeah, when the hate is flowing it's different. I played a lot of D so I didn't score much, but I got my share of apples. In football I was a receiver so i liked to celebrate TDs by just calmy handing the ball to the ref or just dropping it to the ground and jogging away. Our teams sucked though so it didn't happen much lol

I believe that. Not staged fights or anything but heat of the moment emotional fights, absolutely.
The refs do do a bad job a lot of the time, so I see no reason why the players can't step in and right a perceived wrong. - GreatGigInTheSky
I agree, also the league does a lousy job sometimes - Mcnabb should have been suspended - looked dirty, looked intentional. Revenge on a bottom feeder like McNabb is pointless. Could use a hockey player, not a goon that will exact payment on players of equal value for running Andersen or star players.
Taking your Leafs questions for today's Q & A column. What area do you want Kyle Dubas to address in the next nine days? - mikeinbuffalo
Mike,
Not sold on Sparky Sparks.....it’s tough to even watch him tend. Leaf need to address this position in my opinion. Who should they target as a long term backup with term ?

Might as well.
18-24 hours after you eat it it's gonna (frank) you, so might as well do the same in return... - lumlums
Lol
But really it'll (frank) me five minutes after I eat it. How does one 'win' a Tim's product. It's like a raffle to take out their garbage for them. I only bought the coffee because I'm a caffeine addict.

It's like with raffles in Edmonton.
First prize - a pair of tickets to see the Oilers.
Second Prize - two pairs of tickets to see the Oilers...
