So that’s the one bright spot right? I mean with everything that can and has gone wrong they seem to have gotten it right with this one thing....I’m not saying it’s a roster of future all stars but some potential top 6 guys and a top 4 D along with cheap filler options for the NHL roster....not 100% sure in what Starrett is yet but he has played well too

I think the main thing is it frees up 3.4 mil in cap space....so the Sekera dilemma is over with....we can resign him since he will be an RFA

It sounds like to me that they were on board with the AHL plan but who knows....doesn’t matter now....he can play in Europe if he wants but the Oilers hold the cards on his NHL future

Only 4 teams in the West have a better record than the Hurricanes.

They're 13th in the NHL right now.

But still aren't in a playoff spot. NHL doing great, here.
