I will never understand the reasoning behind playing lazy, under-performing veterans who put up 10-25 points per year over hungry, young guns who can play just as bad defensively.

He did bring in half those guys though. Dude is not flawless, as much as some would like to believe that. I don’t want JB gone, but I do want more of his moves to work out.

Leafs played a ton of youngsters a couple years ago and it really worked for them. I wouldn’t expect the same results, but it’d probably be better than this.

Capfriendly paints the picture very well. We have very few deals with more than 1 year remaining. A buyout/retirement or 2 and it's almost a clean slate next year.
