With the way the West looks, I wouldn't rule anyone out. They could probably dangle Juolevi out there and see if there are any takers for one of the bigger fish.

I'd rather trade a 1st even though it would suck to give them a 1st just to see him resign in a couple of months

I'm starting to think he's more untouchable than Dobson. Plus he's AHL eligible next year, which is awesome.

The Rangers passed on Wilde at the draft about 17 times.

Sorry this was very offensive and I flagged it

Would've been a sight to see Wilde and Q. Hughes torturing teams from the UM blueline this year

That I agree with. And just to be clear, I'm not saying Zuke is terrible and will get a crap return. I could see him getting something like a 2nd and a B-level prospect. That's a nice haul for him. I just don't agree with anyone who thinks he's worth a higher-end prospect.
- eichiefs9

I am not trying to say Zucc should bring back someone who will be a 10 year all-star for us. But, he is a 0.70ppg player who is a proven leader and heart-and-soul type guy.
Why do you guys think that teams should be able to acquire him without giving up something of worth?

2 picks after Lindbom. That won't turn out bad or anything.

It felt and still feels like they mixed Lindbom up with someone else and they called his name by accident. Like oh frank we meant so and so

Bode Wilde has a little Sean Day in him that is why he fell. But he's also really good. Now as first year player in Saginaw he's their 2nd leading scorer. He's trending in the right direction. Lindbom has 5 games under his belt this year in Sweden's junior league. Ooof.

I think Wilde ruffled some feathers when he decided to back out of his commitment to Michigan and go to the OHL and I think that's a big reason his stock dropped come draft day. He had some issues with decision-making too but, according to Pronman, he seems to have improved significantly in that area.

I think he'll be in the AHL next year and we'll have a much better idea of how he matches up to pro-size adults. Seems pointless to have him back in the OHL since he's already killing that league.
