Regular season helps seeding but that's all. One way or another Tampa still has to go through the best in the east as well. Flames fans of all people should know that things can turn south with injuries to key players as well which is possible for any team - powerhouse or wildcard.

I've said if Edmonton gets Stone and makes the playoffs, they'd be dangerous, and they would be. I also said they were really only a couple tweaks away from being a good team. So how is that relevant?
