But the real problem here is, when one person disagrees with the rest of the group, that person is villainized. There is no playing the victim, there is just always following the rest of the herd.

I wanted Giroux split from Couturier since July 1st since the JvR signing. It took Hakstol being fired and mid December for this to happen while being behind the eight ball. I took crap for this opinion for months. This is just fact, not playing the victim.


I stated the biggest issue with the PP was Couturier not properly playing the slot. He’s moved out, not only do both units improve, Couturier looks great in the crease on the second unit.

The real problem is, the moment someone doesn’t agree with everybody else, the majority has an issue. None of you can come up with your own ideas. I don’t have a problems with Wayne Simmonds being traded. I’ve stated over and over again that I would like to walk into the playoffs with the best possible roster. If you guys listened instead of making things up, you would know this.

If we have to take Lucic in the deal (which I'm not sure is even a possibility) then I know we would resign Simmonds. We would then be stuck with two bad contracts and players that are very similar. Simmer is heads and shoulders better than Milan right now.

I agree that this is a problem. Wording like “the rest of the group” or “none of you” are absolutes and irritate me because I don’t recall villainizing you for any of those opinions. A few times when I tried to show support for any part of your thinking, you got mad at me. I am fine with leaving you be, but please stop saying everyone does these things.

Simmonds is playing the slot now instead of his usual net front role, and he's terrible at it.

Couturier played the slot most of last season when PP1 was fantastic.

For what it’s worth. I spent the afternoon in an outdoor bar along the water with a gent from Chatham? Ontario. He was a big fan of TK who grew up in the “ next town over”,. Also a real big fan of the Greyhounds and assures me Frost is the real deal and more. I love to get first hAnd accounts even if they may be tainted with alcohol. He was very emphatic.

Of course it's the same for every player. Also for every position. I don't know why Myers hasn't played yet in a game. I just know it's not the travesty you make it out to be and choose not to overreact to it.
