We have all had the opportunity to watch Stolarz a little more lately. He seems to not be upright enough in his stance to use his size to it’s proper advantage. That becomes a disadvantage especially by the posts. He cannot seal them as well and leaves himself vulnerable to having shots banked off him and in.

For me, his development is behind where it needs to be because of his injury history. However, he still has potential. Because he is no longer waiver exempt, his fit would be better backing up an established starter. This is why I see him traded.

Timing and injuries. Hard to blame Hexy for season ending injuries 2 years in a row.

Yes and no. Such a "bush" league down there.

Where did most of the posters from last year/earlier in the year go? If there's a new/different site that most people chat on, please point me in that direction. Posting here lately has really turned into a chore instead of being fun

Calling up Myers but not playing him when you've already dropped Hagg and MacDonald down to 3rd pairing minutes, and were happy to put Folin in for about 12 minutes a game when necessary, is just baffling. Especially when there's only one RHD currently in the lineup.

They have said they wanted him to get a few practices. The first time to get full practices is these three days. Expect a Myers sighting this weekend.

They have also said time with the locker room isn't bad for him either.

I doubt he gets traded unless they do pick up Talbot. Most likely just walks in FA.

Its not an invention on my part. Teams are scouting him. Watch the Minnesota game and Kings game. What do you notice about all the goals that he allows. There is obviously a book out on him.

Teams scout every player and every goalie. Every goaltender is vulnerable up high and every goalie has a book on him. Did you happen to notice the goal that Giroux scored against Minnesota?

Stolarz is a solid goaltender and has show the ability to be a #2 NHL goalie to this point in my opinion.

That would be a great trade for the Flyers but I don't see it happening.

If we trade for Talbot then we risk losing Stolarz to waivers when we send him down

I think it might just be clearing $ for EDM.... I don't see a pressing need for the Flyers for a UFA with a big cap hit who has sucked this year. I wouldn't mind Lucic at 3 mil a year.

the FLYERS taking on cap space for EDMONTON. it truly is 2019. thanks Hexy

They could keep 3 goalies on the roster. I have a feeling if they got Talbot they would probably look to resign him and Stolarz would become a trade piece.
