Actually I've followed the majority of the conversation and the previous comments. He has just simply been right about a lot of things and that bothers you to the point where you then have to resort to personal comments. Which you've been making a lot of recently, to him and to others. It's not about being a good Samaritan. I'm anything but that, it's about what's right.
That's the beauty of hockeybuzz Glak. You have a forum to comment on my comments. I challenge and welcome you to do so. It will be low hanging fruit for me. Better sharpen up on your insults. - MJL
Once again MJL being MJL again with the vague response. I mean instead of actually displaying those "right about most things" comments wouldn't it be more beneficial to just ignore it.
Maybe you can post another hundred "invalid", "false", "inaccurate" comments without ever further explaining.
This whole crybaby session has been based on "putting words in his mouth". As I proved earlier I didn't directly mention him by name. Also the fact that I also stated it had at least 4 other people's opinions that were being used as absolute statements. By the way you are one of four. In case you are unsure what an absolute statement is, which anyone who has read your comments would assume you are not completely clear of.
Absolute Statements. Defined: If something is absolute, it is 100% one way or another; it is not relative or comparative. For example: If someone says, "Grass is green," it suggests that all grass, in any place and at any time, is green. It doesn't leave room for variation, and consequently it is an absolute statement.
Wayne Simmonds is not a 30 goal scorer. He is not a could-of-would-of-should-of 30 goal scorer. He is a 16 goal scorer this season. What he is on pace for doesn't matter. What he could of gotten if the PP was better doesn't matter. Who he played with doesn't matter. The reality is he has scored 16 goals this year. When he scores 30 or almost 30 then call him that, until then stop making yourself look silly. I call things for what they are, not what I think they could be.
So before you start worrying about insults, just worry about your own responses because "My opinion is..." is not a valid point.

I find it hilarious you always have a need to inject your pointless commentary after you prove once again your inability to follow the previous comments. If someone is going to throw out insults you better expect them back. So if you are going to continue to want to dance you better learn some better moves.
I get it you have been his white knight recently, you are such a good samaritan sticking up for the special. As for your previous comment...
No, it's not because you are here. The fact you even have the nerve to question other people's hockey IQ, have you read your comments ever? - Glak18
Dumb person. Nobody attacks you. You attack others. I only ever attack you in response to the poop you say to me first.
To go a little further. You leave yourself open to have your hockey IQ attacked, when you’re wrong constantly. Just like apparently I leave myself open to criticism when I leave a comment filled with spelling mistakes and bad grammar. This is where the argument of right and wrong comes in. |

My post was not intended to be specific about what he was right about but a general comment on the situation. Obviously by this response, my comment was spot on.

It was clear to anyone and everyone following the conversation who you were referring to. Here is one thing specific that I agree with him on. Don't be a coward about it.
Wayne Simmonds is not a 30 goal scorer. He is not a could-of-would-of-should-of 30 goal scorer. He is a 16 goal scorer this season. What he is on pace for doesn't matter. You've made multiple comments about posters intelligence. It's obvious when anyone talks about Simmonds being a 30 goal scorer, it's about what he has done for a full season and what he is capable of.
So before you start worrying about insults, just worry about your own responses because "My opinion is..." is not a valid point. - Glak18
Believe me, I'm not worried about them, no need to. This is just your opinion. Nothing more. Not something I need to be concerned about. |

Obviously when you have nothing to provide this is all you have left. Simply spot on.

Once again I was referring to multiple people in my narrative driven story and special boy was one of them. Still doesn't mean I put words in his mouth. Obviously when someone says something so stupid it is easily recognizable as to who said it.

Yet every basis of your argument is always focused on what could-of-world-of scenario. I mean it works for everyone right?
If Raffl played on the 1st line and had PP duty all year, he would absolutely be a 20-25 goal scorer or does that not fit your narrative? Clearly that's not true because you don't feel that is possible so that makes it valid.
Believe me, I'm not worried about them, no need to. This is just your opinion. Nothing more. Not something I need to be concerned about. - MJL
Exactly, you are not anything to be concern with. There is no need ever to refute empty absolute statements with the stamp of proven at the end. I mean for someone who logs on every day to refute everyone's comments one would do better than this trash...

First insult. - Glak18
I haven’t once denied hurling insults your way and I regret nothing. What I’m denying is sending you these insults for no reason.
You posted a long post about the “narrative” that I’m upset that Wayne Simmonds may be traded because he’s my favorite player. This is where you were putting words in my mouth and not using quotes from me but what you said was Fantasy. No, you did not name me as the individual specific to the post but it was clear it was towards me in response to bulet13’s comments towards me. You’re gutless for not admitting that post was clearly meant for me and you were putting words in my mouth because I haven’t once said we should keep Simmonds because he’s my favorite player (which he is).
Now here comes the hockey aspect of things. We’re 10-1-1 in our last 12. The playoffs are on the line. I believe we’re a better team than what we’ve shown in the first half and I don’t want to see chemistry broken up. I’m not for or against inserting Myers into the line up but in doing so, Gordon could be breaking up chemistry. If we trade Wayne Simmonds and replace him with a kid that nobody has ever heard of in Justin Bailey, I don’t believe Bailey to be anywhere close to be an upgrade or a wash when we talk about replacing one with the other.
Do you have a problem with this? |

Man you are just so cute. Somehow you go from getting mad about putting words in your mouth to putting words in my mouth. So precious. This is what I said which again could of easily been read again.
Let me give you an example of a narrative...
If my team trades my favorite player then that means they are giving up. The reason why this narrative is so good is because it allows justification on either outcome while putting the full blame on the team, fans and media if I don't get my desired outcome. It also allows me to distract everyone from the team and focus on the individual as the most important part.
- Glak18
You have said multiple times. The words "giving up" were used by YOU multiple times. Not paraphrasing, exact quote "giving up".
Other than that right there nothing else had anything to do with you. Do you feel less special? That was it, an indirect reference to an EXACT quote.

This is where we disagree. No, there is no playoffs. There was a slim chance weeks ago. Even if the Flyers won 80% of their games, they need ALL teams above them in the playoff race to finish .500 or less at the same time. So if you want to believe there is a chance then that's cool, but to me the playoffs are out of the picture. Hoping does not change that. |

It’s the same thing!!! If Giroux, Couturier Voracek or anyone else were a UFA, trading any of them would be giving up on the playoffs. Either way, I never made it about an emotional attachment. People like you who post here have accused me of making it about an emotional attachment to Simmonds.

Yes! I have. I don’t think it would be right to trade key players regardless of their contract status as long as we’re in a playoff race.
You know what? Deny that post was for me but it’s pretty clear it was. At least I can own up to everything I’ve said directly to you. It’s called being a man.

Well there it is. We disagree on whether we could make it or not. Suddenly “that’s cool” that we disagree.
Yes, there is a chance for the playoffs! There is 25 games left and we’re eight points out. We’re 10-1-1 for the best record in hockey right now. A month and half ago we were in last place. |

Wondering what the idea would be regarding talbot? I guess we could take him on here and add to the goalie stockpile but I wouldn't give up any assets. |
